Custom Miniature Pet Portrait

I will only be selling a very limited number of these custom paintings at this price.


These are custom, one-of-a-kind pieces painted in waterbased paint with archival paint markers. They are painted on artist grade birch panel and are sealed and ready to hang or display in a tabletop easel!

*Your ticket cost is your down payment, so the remaining painting cost will be $150

How it Works

First, purchase your custom painting "ticket."


Right now, there are only 8 tickets available. I may open up more in November as paintings are completed, but it's hard to say how many there will be total. Your ticket price is your down payment on the custom painting.

Next, let's chat about colors!


I'll email you within 24-48 hours of your purchase, so just respond to the email with your color notes!


Have a specific color combo in mind? Is there a color you definitely don't want? Prefer muted tones, or as bright as possible? Just let me know and I'll do what I can to accomodate your request! (Just note, I only have 45 colors to work with, and for these pieces I'm finding that the richer the colors the better! See my example pieces for some ideas on how the colors all work together.)


Before starting your painting, I'll send you a proposed palette swatch for your approval.

Finally, I'll email you to get a few images of your pet.


After our quick chat about colors, I'll get some photos from you. You can send me up to five images that you feel best captures your animal's essence, and I'll select the best one. One thing I've learned in 15+ years of painting animals is that what makes a fantastic photograph is not always what makes a perfect painting, so having a few images to choose from will help us find the image that will fit the scale and style of this painting the best.

Once we have the palette and photo chosen, I'll begin work on your piece!


I'll send you an invoice for the remaining cost of your painting. (You can either pay in full, or in two payments.)

I'll send you updates every two weeks (if not more often) and will ship your piece by December 15 to arrive in time for Christmas.*

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean, I purchase a "ticket?"

Because this is a custom piece that takes a while to produce, you're essentially buying a place in line.


I'll complete paintings in the order I receive the ticket purchases, and I won't sell more tickets than I can complete before time to ship for Christmas!


Your ticket counts as your down payment toward the full price of the painting. Once I get started working on your painting, I will send you an invoice to collect the final amount.

Can I make edit requests?

Yes! Your ticket price includes one round of edits! I'll show you your piece when it's about 80% complete to get your feedback.

What is the cost of shipping?

Shipping is free inside of the contiguous US!


If you're outside of that area, just send me a note and I can get you a shipping estimate.

Can I get a solid color in the background instead of the wood grain?

Sure! I will only have to add $15 to the cost just to cover extra labor and materials.

I'd love an animal painting, but of a favorite animal rather than my pet. Can I do that?

Definitely! Let's chat! Send me a note in the box below and we'll work something out. I have reference images for hundreds of animals (local and exotic) if you don't have a specific image in mind.

What is your refund policy?

You can recieve a refund on your ticket price up to the moment I set marker to panel.


Because these custom animal artworks that are very labor-intensive and very personalized, I am unable to offer refunds once I begin painting.


I love painting animals and I know that you'll love seeing your family member in this unique style!


However, if for any reason you are unsatisfied with your painting, I can put the cost of your painting toward any of my other fine art offerings (prints or orignal artwork).
